THE RTS 'BOSTON MARATHON' SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER - Global Education Campus

Jim McAlhaney, (M.A.R; M.S.), Director of Admissions for RTS/Global Education, will run the 118th Boston Marathon on April 21. Since its inception in 1897, the Boston Marathon is the world's oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world's most prestigious road racing events. The Boston Marathon has distinguished itself as the pinnacle event within the sport of road racing by virtue of its traditions, longevity, and method of gaining entry into the race (via qualification). Jim qualified for the 2014 Boston Marathon with a 3:11 time at the Kiawah Island Marathon in December 2012.

This 26.2 mile race will be Jim's 15th full marathon. He is also running to raise additional scholarship
funds for RTS students. He is calling it the Boston Marathon Student Scholarship Fundraiser.
Jim is an RTS alumnus and staff member. He says, “When I was a student with RTS, I was also the recipient of a scholarship to help lower my tuition cost. Without this, I could not have finished seminary.” If you are interested in supporting Jim in this effort, he is asking for a base pledge of $1 per mile for a total contribution of $26.20 per supporter, of course larger pledges are welcome. You can support Jim’s efforts and make your contribution to the RTS Student Scholarships by clicking the following link.
