2016 Annual Mission Conference, RTS Jackson - Jackson Campus

Our 2016 RTS Jackson Annual Mission Conference will be September 6 and 7.

The Keynote speaker is Rev. Ed Hartman. He is a graduate of Columbia Bible College; Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv); and Westminster Seminary in California (DMin). After serving as pastor of two churches in Mississippi for 15 years, Ed joined Mission to the World and served as team leader of a church planting and leadership development team in Brasov, Romania (2004-2013) where nationals are continuing the ministries begun during his time there. Since leaving Romania, Ed has continued to invest in church planting and missions as he, along with his wife, Emily, work in leadership development
and renewal with pastors, church leaders, church planters and missionaries and their wives. Ed is currently serving as Minister of Mission and Outreach at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi.

SPECIAL EVENT: Ministry to Indonesia - Jackson Campus

We are excited to announce that on Friday, September 9, Dr. Ligon Duncan, our Chancellor, and Dr. Ric Cannada, Chancellor Emeritus, are presenting to our campus and community an overview of the amazing work that God is doing in the country of Indonesia.

Joining them will be Mrs. Aileen Riady, wife of Mr. James Riady. Mr. Riady is a Christian businessman that has been instrumental in reaching their home country of Indonesia with the Gospel through schools, hospitals, church plants, and many other avenues of practical ministry.

You are invited to come and bring a friend. There will be a complimentary lunch and childcare will be provided if requested. Please contact Emily Diffenderfer at ediffenderfer@rts.edu if childcare is needed.

A graduate of RTS Charlotte (M.Div, 2004), Ben is the associate pastor at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Chestnut Mountain, Georgia. He and his wife Rebecca have been blessed with three children. In addition to serving on the Credentials Committee of Georgia Presbytery, Ben is presently pursuing a ThM through Emory University.

Dr. Terry Clarke has a Bachelor degree in Business from Belmont University. After seven and a half years in business, he moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to do a Master of Divinity at Knox Theological Seminary. Then after a brief time as a pastor, he earned his PhD (in Old Testament) from the University of Wales. He is now the Principal of Sunshine Coast Theological College in Queensland, Australia. He has been married to Francine for 26 years.
