Ligon Duncan to Join Al Mohler, Tim Keller and a Panel Discussion at the PCA GA

Reformed Theological Seminary announces three speaking engagements by Dr. J. Ligon Duncan, III, at the Presbyterian Church in America's General Assembly to be held at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, SC, June 17-21, 2013.

Duncan is the John E. Richards professor of systematic and historical theology at RTS/Jackson and senior minister at the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Miss. He is also the president of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. 

A native of Greenville, Duncan graduated from Furman University and then received an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He studied systematic theology at the Free Church of Scotland College and earned a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He previously served in both St. Louis and Scotland.
  • On Tuesday, June 18, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., Duncan will participate in a Ligonier Ministries sponsored panel discussion on "The Person and Work of Christ," along with Sinclair Ferguson, Stephen Nichols, Richard Pratt, and R. C. Sproul. Click here to register.
  • On Thursday, June 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Duncan will join Al Mohler for a joint seminar on “Commending and Defending the Total Truthfulness of Scripture.” 
  • On Thursday, June 20, from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Duncan will join Tim Keller on “ Working Together in the PCA to Address Our Cultural Moment.”
