Mr. Michael Hillerman serves as Adjunct Professor of Counseling, as a clinical supervisor within the program, and as the Counseling department’s Program Development Coordinator. Mr. Hillerman graduated cum laude from the University of West Florida, and he earned a Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. He is presently a doctoral student studying Counseling with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mississippi State University. Mr. Hillerman is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a board qualified supervisor in the state of Mississippi. His clinical experience includes counseling individuals, couples, adolescents and families in private practice, college, and church-based settings. In addition to his roles at RTS, Mr. Hillerman continues to maintain a part-time private counseling practice. He has served the Mississippi Association for Marriage and Family Therapy as board member and Secretary. Mr. Hillerman and his wife Cristy have four children and are active in the homeschool sports organization where Mr. Hillerman serves on the board.
