Dr. Richard Pratt serves as Adjunct Professor at RTS Orlando. He taught full-time at RTS Jackson and RTS Orlando for more than 20 years. Dr. Pratt chaired the Old Testament Department at RTS Orlando for several years and now occasionally teaches Old Testament courses.

Dr. Pratt is the president and founder of Third Millennium Ministries, an organization committed to equip church leaders in their own lands by creating a multimedia seminary curriculum in five major languages. During international mission efforts early in his teaching career, Dr. Pratt observed the hunger of foreign pastors and ministry leaders for theological education as well as the lack of resources to obtain such education. He developed the conviction that any person with a desire to learn more about the Bible should be given that opportunity in their own language and at no cost to them. Third Millennium Ministries produces online video courses on various biblical and theological topics in English, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Spanish. Dr. Pratt is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. He has served as a pastor and traveled extensively to evangelize and teach.

Dr. Pratt's research interests and numerous publications relate to Old Testament theology, interpreting biblical literature, apologetics and the integration of biblical and theological studies with practical Christian living. He served as general editor of the Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible (Zondervan, 2003).

Students appreciate Dr. Pratt's passion for bringing in-depth biblical education to Christian leaders around the world and his willingness to challenge various trends among Western evangelicals.
