RTS hosting Faculty Panel Discussion at Cross Conference Dec. 29, "Developing a Heart for Missions"
December 10, 2013
Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) is excited to be part of the Cross Conference and affirms with the Cross Leadership that, “World missions is the glorious gospel enterprise of going like Christ into another cultural world to rescue people from eternal suffering, and renovate their broken lives, that they might render to God the splendor of his majesty through faith in Christ. There is no better reason to lose your life and no greater way to live it.”
Ligon Duncan Derek Thomas Leslie Holmes Elias Madeiros
RTS is hosting a panel discussion on Sunday, December 29th, from 5:30-6:30pm at the Exhibit Hall Stage and the topic is “Developing a Heart for Missions.” The panel consists of RTS faculty: Dr. Ligon Duncan, Dr. Derek Thomas, Dr. Leslie Holmes, and Dr. Elias Medeiros. The panel will discuss the importance for Christians to be actively cultivating a heart for missions in our families, our churches, and our seminaries. RTS prays that God will call many at this conference to serve Him by taking the gospel to the 6,000+ unreached people groups of the world and we would like the privilege to equip them in their calling.
