Tom Nelson, director of admissions at RTS Orlando, wrote an insightful article “Seminary101” for Relevant’s December 19, 2011, issue on helping Christians discern and assess their calling and make a commitment to further studies. His step by step approach to deciding which seminary (graduate school) to attend and the application process break-down should be of great help to anyone seeking the “how-tos” of the process. Tom, who will graduate from RTS Orlando with a Master’s of Divinity degree in May, also serves as a ruling elder at River Oaks Presbyterian Church (PCA).
