Public Lecture and Open House for RTS New York City

RTS New York City and Redeemer City to City are pleased to host Dr. James Davison Hunter as part of an Open Lecture Series to be followed by an Open House for RTS New York City. Dr. Hunter is a guest lecturer for the Living the Christian Life in a Secular Culture course taught by Dr. Tim Keller. You are invited to join the class and hear Dr. Hunter lecture on understanding contemporary culture.
RTS and CTC have partnered to offer a seminary degree and practical ministry training in NYC with the goal of preparing ministry leaders in the city for the city. Following the lecture, you are invited to participate in an Open House and learn more about the seminary program.

Dr. Hunter is the Labrosse-Levinson Distinguished Professor of Religion, Culture and Social Theory at the University of Virginia and Executive Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture. Professor Hunter has written nine books, edited three books, and published a wide range of essays, articles, and reviews all variously concerned with the problem of meaning and moral order in a time of political and cultural change in American life. Since 1995, Professor Hunter has served as founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture, a university-based, interdisciplinary research center concerned with understanding contemporary cultural change and its implications for individuals, institutions, and society.
