Dr. Ligon Duncan on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood

On Friday, February 17, the RTS Jackson Student Cabinet and Women in Ministry hosted an evening with Dr. Ligon Duncan discussing the topic of Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. Students, faculty, and staff gathered together, enjoying a dessert and coffee bar, and were treated to a very instructive address from Dr. Duncan that looked at the Biblical foundations for manhood and womanhood from Genesis 1-3. Following his address, two members of the student cabinet, President Bentley Crawford and Latasha Allston (pictured with Dr. Duncan above), fielded questions from students via text message and were able to hear from Dr. Duncan regarding questions surrounding topics such as complementarianism, gender roles, the recent Trinity debate, worldly perspectives, and contemporary ministry issues. Many of those in attendance left with fresh encouragement and clarity regarding these complex issues.
