Duncan Speaks at T4G

One of the four original founders of Together for the Gospel in 2006, Ligon Duncan was quite busy April 8-10 at the 2014 edition of this pastors’ conference that in many ways embodies the “Young, Restless, and Reformed” movement.  The T4G 2014 Conference, entitled “Unashamed,” focused on evangelism.  It was held at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, with over 8,000 in attendance.

The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood held a preconference event the morning of April 8 at the Galt House in Louisville.  There were 1,300 in attendance.  Ligon, who serves as the President of CBMW, gave the opening address.

Here is a list of Ligon's speaking engagements at T4G and the CBMW preconference.

Plenary Session:
Title: "The Gospel by Numbers" (Numbers 5)

Ligon exposited Numbers 5:1-4 where the Lord tells Moses to command Israel that those who are unclean must be put outside the camp.  He unpacked the practical, theological, and Christological reasons for this command, and pointed to Christ.  The beauty of the Gospel was preached powerfully.

In his T4G ’14 Debrief on Gospel Coalition, Thabiti Anyabwile said that Ligon’s exposition was the best sermon for his heart.
