SIBL Began on June 27 with 60 Students

The Summer Institute of Biblical Languages began on June 27 and will run for 7 weeks through August 12. The Hebrew Class, which meets from 9-12 each morning, has 17 students, and the Greek Class, which meets from 1-4 each afternoon, has 43 students. The first Ultimate Frisbee game included 26 students from both classes. This year it has been promised that the Hebrew and Greek T-shirts will be from Under Armor and have more of a jersey feel.
In addition to RTS Jackson students, there are several visiting students. Auditors include an 83-year-old retired lawyer, Miles’s 12-year-old daughter, two home-schooling moms from North Carolina who brought five children between the ages of 12 and 14, several pastors in the area, and a couple of current students who wanted to refresh their languages.
