Dr. Paul Long is Professor Emeritus of Missions. He served nearly ten years as a missionary in Africa and almost twenty years in Brazil planting churches throughout the Amazon. He holds a Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary and received the Hubbard Award as the outstanding graduate that year. Dr. Long's vision made possible the establishment of a strong missions program at RTS. His rich missionary experience and deep faith have found expression in The Man in the Leather Hat. During his RTS years he has continued his missions efforts, traveling to all parts of the globe as a missionary consultant and speaker.
