Women in Ministry

Women in Ministry (WiM) is a ministry for all women affiliated with RTS that provides fellowship, fosters connection to the broader seminary community, equips each woman to build the kingdom in her respective calling, and encourages women to live passionately in submission to Christ.

WiM provides opportunities for connection through Bible studies and process groups, retreats, seminars, and fellowship events. We encourage the wives of students to take advantage of the spouse scholarship and enroll in or audit classes as they are able. Our hope is that all women will come away from seminary having experienced meaningful relationships and spiritual growth.

WiM Fall Retreat
Friday and Saturday, September 26-27 | 4p | Best Western in New Smyrna Beach

Enjoy the beauty of the beach and connect deeply with one another during this relaxing 24-hour getaway. Check in between 4:00 and 5:30 on Friday at the Best Western. Then, be blessed by dinner, fellowship, and worship.

Saturday morning there will be time for a stroll on the beach and breakfast with friends. The hotel offers an inexpensive breakfast in the restaurant or your hotel room includes a kitchenette. After a relaxed morning we will gather for Lectio Divina, led by Christina Sweeting. This is a traditional Benedictine practice of experiencing the Word through readings and prayer. We will have lunch together and then you can head home or stay and enjoy the rest of the afternoon on the beach.

The cost is $30 per person and includes hotel (3 – 4 per room) and 2 meals (Friday dinner and Saturday lunch). Adults only, please. The registration deadline is Friday, September 12. You may register here.
