Ceci was born and raised in Peru, spent most of her life in the former Panama Canal Zone, and has U.S. citizenship. She considers herself American all the way - North, Central, and South American! Bilingual in Spanish and English, Ceci can also hold basic conversation in French and Portuguese. In Panama, Ceci served the church through various leadership roles in women’s and children’s ministries and provided simultaneous translation of Sunday services.
Prior to coming to RTS Orlando in 2000, Ceci earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in organizational communication and worked for Crown Ministries. Now, as Assistant to the Dean for the Orlando campus, Ceci works directly with the Academic Dean and coordinates the major academic events of the year: Convocation, the Kistemaker Academic Lecture Series, and Commencement. She is also a graphic designer and works with institutional internal communications.
In her spare time, Ceci serves as the vice president of her HOA and writes her neighborhood’s newsletter. Among many other creative activities, she enjoys learning about other cultures and cooking for friends and family. Ceci and her husband, Charles, have three adult children, and love spending time with their nine grandchildren.
