Genesis-Joshua - 3.00 Hours

A study of the basic interpretive issues for the first six books of the Bible. The major literary structural features are outlined, as well as the meaning. Special topics include law in the Old Testament, holy war, and covenant theology. Major themes will be traced from their ancient settings to the contemporary world.

Systematic Theol 3 - 3.00 Hours

STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL MEET FOR CLASS ON FRIDAY/SATURDAY ON THE FOLLOWING DATES: JAN. 15th & 16th; FEB. 12th & 13th; and APR. 1st & 2nd. A study of soteriology (the application of Christ's work of redemption: union with Christ, calling, regeneration, conversion, faith, repentance, justification, adoption, sanctification and perseverance), ecclesiology (the doctrine of the church), sacraments (baptism, the Lord's Supper) and eschatology (death, intermediate state, the return of Christ, resurrection and final judgment), with continual reference to historical theology.
